Locimens talks to MetaTrader 5 through a Python MCP server using the official MetaTrader5 package. MT5 must be installed, running, and logged in on the same Windows machine.

Install MT5 from your broker
Download the 64-bit terminal from your broker’s site. Install and log into a demo or live account.

Keep MT5 running
Leave the terminal open while using Locimens. Agents and the Data hub read live account state from the terminal.
Verify the connection
- Open Locimens → Data or MT5 dashboard
- Confirm account balance and symbols load without errors
- If tools fail, restart MT5, then restart Locimens
Register MT5 accounts (plan limits)
Some plans limit how many MT5 accounts or devices you can register. Use locimens.com → Accounts → MT5 registration to link accounts to your subscription.
Demo vs live
Your plan may gate live trading features. Check your plan on the Profile or Accounts page before going live.
