The Locimens desktop app is distributed as a Windows installer. Sign in on locimens.com, download the latest build for your plan, then run Locimens Setup.

Sign in on locimens.com
Open locimens.com, sign in or create an account, and go to Accounts or the download section on the homepage.

Download Locimens Setup
Click Download for Windows. If downloads are gated by a waitlist or release window, join the waitlist or check back when your plan’s download is available.

Run the installer
Launch Locimens-Setup-*.exe. Choose your installation folder (default is fine for most users). Wait for the progress bar to complete.

Launch Locimens
When setup finishes, click Launch Locimens or open it from the Start menu / desktop shortcut.

Allow local network if prompted
Windows Firewall may ask to allow Locimens — approve for private networks so local services can start correctly.
What gets installed
- Locimens Electron shell and bundled UI
- MCP bridge and LLM gateway (started automatically)
- MT5 MCP server binary (Nuitka-compiled in packaged builds)
- Start menu and optional desktop shortcut
- Uninstall entry in Windows Settings → Apps
Uninstalling
Use Windows Settings → Apps → Locimens → Uninstall, or run Locimens-Uninstall.exe from your install folder. Add --remove-all-data only if you want to delete local settings and cached data.
GPU issues on charts
If chart zoom or pan blacks out the window, set environment variable LOCIMENS_DISABLE_GPU=1 before launching, or contact [email protected].
