Troubleshooting

Common setup issues and how to fix them.

MT5 not connected

  1. Confirm MT5 is open and logged in on the same PC
  2. Restart MT5, then restart Locimens
  3. Check Windows firewall did not block Python/MT5 components

Agent will not start

  1. Verify marketplace license in Accounts → purchased products
  2. Open agent logs from Agents → Plugins → Logs
  3. Ensure the MCP port is not used by another process
  4. Reinstall the plugin from marketplace if files are corrupted

LLM / model errors

  1. Ollama: confirm ollama serve is running and the model is pulled
  2. OpenRouter: verify API key and billing credits
  3. Try a smaller model to rule out VRAM limits

Telegram bot not responding

  1. Re-check bot token and chat ID in Settings → Telegram
  2. Ensure Locimens desktop app is running (bot polls through local bridge)
  3. Send /start again after saving settings
